Student Jerry Kontos

"My name is Jerry, I'm student from Boki. I trained with him for about 13 months, I've learn more from him about shoulder extensions, using my hands, stability and strength and doing handstands than I had in 2 years trying to learn from myself.

4 months after I started with Boki, I acheved 7 seconds freestanding hold after a kickup.
Few months after that I was able to gain 14 seconds hold, coming off the wall as I was facing it.
From that point on and through the rest of my training with Boki, I was able to consistently do 7-8 seconds hold, wether I was facing the wall, back to the wall or freestanding.

I am so grateful for Boki and his knowledge and skills and I hope to be returning to him as soon as possible.

Student Joni Pirkle

"I struggled for years trying to gain the understanding of how to do a handstand and could not find a balance point for the life of me, consistently.

Then I found Flip Yourself handstand coaching online and I could not speak highly enough about this person. He is dedicated, professional, supportive, encouraging, patient, understanding and he recognises what you are doing wrong and can inform you what you need to change to better your balance while you are inverted.

I seriously gained more and more understanding every session that I had training with him and he will let you gain the understanding of what you need to do to master handstands.

I can't speak highly about this person and you will not be dissapointed if you use him as your coach."

Annette Batosic
"I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible journey I embark upon with Boki as my handstand coach. Learning a skill like the handstand in my senior years was a dream. I never thought it's possible but under Boki's guidance it became a reality beyond my wildest expectations.

Boki possesses a unique teaching method that goes far beyond conventional approaches. His patience and bearing support and inovative techniques transformed my fear into courage and my doubts into determination and obsession.

With every session he motivated me to push my limits showing me that age is just a number when it comes to achieving incredible feats. Bringing him to Croatia for 2 epic one week workshops was one of the best decisions I ever made.

His workshops were not only enlightening but also filled with camaraderie and lots of laughter. He created a nurturing environment that allowed all participants regardless or age or skill level to flourish and master the art of the handstand. With his guidance I not only learned to balance a freestanding handstand for over 30 seconds which was my goal, but I also gained a profound understanding of myself and the power of endurance.

Beyond his remarkable teaching abilities, Boki is a humble, patient and genuinely kind person. His demeanor attitude make every session so enjoyable and motivating. I consider myself fortunate to have had him as my handstand coach.

I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Thank you Boki for helping me reach my new heights both physically and personally.''

Ellie Yoke

"This is a testimonial for the wonderful Boki handstand training coach. Really knows his stuff on handstands better than anyone I've ever encountered and I'm from a Yoga background.

Boki is very accommodating and he can see exactly where you where you are going wrong, he gives the corrections in real time as you are doing the work and also feedback afterwards and you can kind of brainstorm it a little bit together, because understanding all of that geometry is really important to get in your head when you are actually upside down trying to do the handstand.

He's very with your joints and prevention of injury, I've never ever injured myself on his watch. And since training with Boki I've made leaps and bounds in my progess. So I'm grateful to you Boki, thank you so much and love to your family."

Silvia Cossu

"Boki's been my coach for 5 months. I've reached to him because I was likely able to balance for a couple of seconds, but I had no endurance and my line was not straight. And by the second class we had together he was already able fix my banana back and that was already mind blowing for me. He is incredibly patient and supportive and it really becomes a team work meaning that yes he prepares a class for you, he gives you different drills to practice, but he also is able to adjust the class immediately if the day you are thinking about working on something different.

I am incredibly grateful for the time that we could share together and to have the opportunity to work with him and I encourage everybody that is on the path of getting a handstand to reach to him, because he will get you there, thank you."

Testimonial from Silvia about my free coaching sessions.

"Thank you so much for this amazing class today. I had this private coaching with you, it was really amazing and it gave me really good feeling afterwards. These tips from you helped me find more awareness of my body of where am I in this upside down position.

I got many tips already from different teachers, but not how to connect different body parts and it really helped me already a lot in one session to feel my body more and that's amazing work from you."

Nancy Siy

In 2022, I decided I wanted to learn how to properly do a handstand. I realized my old ways have not helped with alignment or balancing at all. I found Slobodan Stojcevski/ coach Boki through a handstand group, and I started training with him in May, right after feeling defeated by the results of the Philippine elections. It was what I needed to stay grounded.

I sent him an assessment video and from there, he gave me drills and tips and drew arrows from video homeworks I submitted to him so I know which specific part of the body I need to focus on. There were usually only two drills at a time.

The explanations were simple. There were no complicated anatomical lectures. The training approach was minimal and spot-on. We never had a single live training session because of the time difference, and yet his feedback helped me achieve milestone after milestone, and for the first time in years, my handstand practice was actually on a roll.

By Dec 8, which is 7 months worth of training 3 times a week, I hit my personal record of 21 seconds hold on freestanding handstand (first video). The work paid off, considering that during my starting point (second video), I couldn’t even leave the wall and I wasn’t even aware enough to feel that my shoulders and hips are not stacked!

I owe all of this progress to coach Boki, and I highly recommend his coaching to anyone who wants to learn how to handstand but couldn’t leave the wall or balance just yet. There are many handstand programs out there (I even bought a couple) but none felt like they were made for my specific strengths and limitations.

Coach Boki’s style of training is efficient because you quickly learn that there are foundational basics, at the same time, your body and your habits and your tendencies need to be addressed as well.

Learning handstands can feel very complicated because there are many things going on literally— the fingers, the shoulders, the hips, the feet, even the gaze! Coach Boki has the gift of making complicated things easier to understand.

I’m “graduating” from coach Boki’s training, and I’m confident that from here onwards, I get to add to the skills he’s already taught me.

Claire Dallas

"Hi, I'm Claire, Iwas a handstand student of Boki. Boki's approach worked well for me. He helped me understand and experience shoulder movements in a way I've never done before. Teaching me when and how to use the parts of my body to remain in balance. Giving me knowledge and confidence and he encouraged me to fight for every single handstand.

He challenged me with drills to help my alignment and strengthen my body and motivated me to keep going when stuff got tough. I definitely came out more confident and able handstander achieving the goals I set for.

I recommend Boki to anyone who wants to take their handstand to the next level, whether you are starting your journey or progressing it. His kind, patient and supportive nature and top coaching will help to make your handstand journey so much smoother."

Cynthia Castro

"During the pandemic decided to learn how to handstand. And because everything was online I decided to try "online coaching for handstand".

I was very skeptical, but Boki changed my mind for good He was giving me a lot of feedback and the most important: he helped me to lose the fear of falling! My goal with him was to achieve 10 seconds in a freestanding handstand and I did it.

The way he structure the coaching is very nice and you feel that he also enjoy and celebrate your progress. He is a great coach and a beautiful person. Hand balance is a never ending Story and with Boki you can have the perfect start in your own journey!"

Student Cinthya achieved 10 seconds freestanding handstand in 3 months. After that she kept going on her own and became even better, she can now consistently hold a freestanding handstand!

Viviana Romanazzi

In just 3 months Viviana made amazing progress reaching 30 seconds freestanding hold!

NOTE: Viviana started to practice the handstand for more than 2 years before she started the Flip Yourself coaching, so she could already balance but inconsistent and she was not aware of how her body was moving. So that was a head start for her and with proper mindful work, she established incredible upside down awareness.

- Just to make things clear, because behind every solid handstand there's plenty of work, struggle and frustrations. Everyone is different and everyone can learn to balance, but always with a different pace.
So, never compare yourself to others, learn to appreciate your own journey and fall in love with the process 🙏

Viviana:
"I started working on my handstand for more than 2 years and I've taken classes with three different coaches and with all of them I learned something.

But it was only when I met Boki and I started working with him, then I really started to make progress. And I went from just a few seconds of balancing to 20 and 30 seconds of balancing.

What I love with Boki's teaching is that he focuses especially on how to create balance in a handstand and how to find it again when you lose it. His drills are very specific and his way of cueing you when he watches you are very essential for you to learn what you need to do while you are on your hands and trying to balance.

So, I would recommend Boki to anyone who wants to really learn how to stay as long as possible on a handstand. He gives you the tools to create your own balance and to work to maintain it and to make it last longer."
